Description : The S100 family of proteins contain two EF-hand calcium-binding motifs and are thought to be involved in the regulation of a number of cellular processes including cell cycle progression and differentiation. This protein may function in motility, invasion and tubulin polymerisation.
Recombinant Human S100A11 also called S100C is expressed in E. coli having a molecular weight of 17kDa fused to an amino terminal hexahistidine tag. Physical Appearance: Sterile filtered liquid.
Formulation: Recombinant Human S100-A11 is supplied in 1x Laemmli Buffer (25mM Tris-HCl pH6.8, 50mM DTT, 1%(w/v) SDS, 0.1%(w/v) Bromophenol Blue and 2.5% Glycerol).
Stability:
Store at 4蚓 if entire vial will be used within 1-2 weeks.
Store, frozen at -20蚓 for longer periods of time.
Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity: Greater than 95% (SDS-PAGE).
2 bands on Western blot at 17 and 34 kDa, respectively representing monomeric and dimeric form. Application: Recombinant S100A11 can be used directly as a positive control in Western blotting, ELISA, immunoprecipitation and other immunological experiments.
The biological activity of this product has not yet been tested.
