Background:
LA/SS-B (SS-B Antigen) is a cytoplasmic or nuclear ribonucleoproteins carrying LA determinant.SS-B/La is a nuclear protein of 48 kilodaltons with two structural domains of Mr 28,000 and Mr 23,000 generated by proteolytic cleavage. The human La (SS-B) autoantigen is an abundantly expressed putative RNA chaperone, functioning in various intracellular processes involving RNA.
Description :
Recombinant Human LA/SS-B produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a molecular mass of 47.6kDa. Recombinant LA/SS-B is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
