Recombinant Human Histidyl-tRNA Synthetase

Certificate of Analysis and Data Sheet

Source:
E.Coli

Catalog No.
ENZ-268

Description :

Recombinant Human Histidyl tRNA synthetase (JO-1) produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a molecular mass of 55kDa. Recombinant Histidyl tRNA synthetase is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance:

Sterile Filtered clear solution.

Formulation:

Recombinant JO-1 (1.2mg/ml) contains 150mM NaCl and 10mM sodium phosphate containing 0.1% NaN3 (pH 7.2).

Stability:

JO-1 although stable at 4oC for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18oC. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Please avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Purity:

Greater than 98.0% as determined by:
(a) Analysis by RP-HPLC.
(b) Anion-exchange FPLC.
(c) Analysis by reducing and non-reducing SDS-PAGE Silver Stained gel.

Dimers and aggregates:

Less than 1% as determined by silver-stained SDS-PAGE gel analysis.

Endotoxin:

Less than 0.1 ng/ug (IEU/ug) of Human Histidyl tRNA synthetase .

Protein content:

Protein quantitation was carried out by:
1. 0.25 - 2.0 mg/ml Bradford assay vs. BSA.

Western blot:

Strongly reactive with human anti JO-1antisera.

Usage:

This material is offered by ProSpec-TechnoGene for research, laboratory or further evaluation purposes.
