Recombinant Hepatitis啲 Virus嗰osaic ORF2/ORF3?12 HEV immunodominant regions)

Certificate of Analysis and Data Sheet

Source:

Catalog No.
HEV-235

Background:

Hepatitis E virus (HEV) is a major human pathogen in much of the developing world. It is a plus-strand RNA virus with a 7.2-kb polyadenylated genome consisting of three open reading frames, ORF1, ORF2, and ORF3. Of these, ORF2 encodes the major capsid protein of the virus and ORF3 encodes a small protein of unknown function.

Description :

The protein is a mosiac of 12 immunodominant HEV ORF2-ORF3 fragments. Hepatitis E Virus proteins are purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Purification method:

Purified on Sepharose by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Purity:

Recombinant HEV is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining) and RP-HPLC.

Formulation:

1mg/ml in 25mM Tris-HCl, 1mM EDTA, 0.5M urea, 50% glycerol.

Storage:

Recombinant HEV is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon arrival, Store at -20C.

Stability:

Recombinant HEV is stable 5 years frozen, One month in solution at room temperature.

Specificity:

Immunoreactive with sera of HEV-infected individuals

Application:

Recombinant HEV Antigen may be used in ELISA and Western blots, excellent for detection of HEV with minimal specificity problems.

Usage:

This material is offered by ProSpec-TechnoGene for research, laboratory or further evaluation purposes.
