Description :

Artificial mosaic polypeptide composite constructed from diagnostically relevant antigenic regions derived from the NS4 region of different HCV genotypes. The protein contains the fragments of the NS4 immunodominant region, linear sequence of amino acids: (1916-1947) .
Hepatitis C Virus NS4 proteins are purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Purity:

Protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining).

Protein Conc.:

10mg/ml. 1mg in 25mM Tris-HCl, pH8.0, 5mM Glutathione, 0.2% triton and 50% glycerol.

Storage:

Protein is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon arrival, Store at -20⁰C.

Stability:

Five years frozen. One month in solution at room temperature.

Specificity:

Immunoreactive with sera of HCV-infected individuals.

Application:

Antigen in ELISA and Western blots, excellent antigen for detection of HCV with minimal specificity problems.
