Catalog No.
CMV-215
Background:
The human cytomegalovirus UL99-encoded pp28 is a myristylated phosphoprotein that is a constituent of the virion.
The pp28 protein is positioned within the tegument of the virus particle, a protein structure that resides between the capsid and envelope.
In the infected cell, pp28 is found in a cytoplasmic compartment derived from the Golgi apparatus,
where the virus buds into vesicles to acquire its final membrane.
Description :
The protein contains the CMV-pp65 immunodominant regions, amino acids:(297-510).
CMV-pp65 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Purification method:
Purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.
Purity:
Recombinant CMV-pp65 is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining) and RP-HPLC.
Formulation:
1mg/ml in 25 mM Tris-Hcl pH 8.0, 1 mM EDTA and 50% glycerol.
Storage:
Recombinant CMV-pp65 is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon arrival, Store at -20C.
